Are there any restrictions for the myPOS Smart devices?

  • Default Android settings are locked. Alternatively, you can adjust most common Android settings from the myPOS Settings app.
  • An app has to be signed with a vendor's key due to PCI compliance requirements. Signing is made by myPOS, once a developer has submitted the application for review. The PCI key is different from the developer key.
  • Google Play Store is not allowed.
  • We do not accept Android apps with obfuscated code.
